Capturing the character and beauty of pets is special. I honestly believe a painting or drawing can capture this far better than a photograph. I am always honored when I am asked to paint someone’s pet, whether they are a gecko, pigeon, cat, dog, horse……..

This month, I caught the perfect reference photo of my own two doggos - and had the immediate desire to paint them. I am painting them live on TikTok if you would like to follow the journey - I am 5 hours, in on a possible 50 hrs (give 10hrs either way) piece.
