Commissioning work is a very individual process and therefore I will discuss your requirements and provide a quote before starting your artwork. I believe it is essential that I get to know your pets personality and character to ensure I capture an accurate representation of your pet.

SECURING YOUR BOOKING

To secure your commission slot and begin work on your pet portrait, a non-refundable booking fee of 30% is required. This fee ensures your commitment to the project and reserves your place in my schedule. The remaining balance will be due upon completion and your satisfaction with the final result.

Please note that booking fees are non-refundable, except in the unfortunate event of a portrait cancellation initiated by me. In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded in full.

Once the booking fee is paid, your commission slot is secured for my next available date. I highly recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as my schedule fills up quickly.

Delivery

For clients within the UK, postage via Tracked and Signed for delivery is included in the price of your portrait commission. This ensures the safe and secure transit of your artwork to your doorstep.

For international clients, an additional shipping fee of approximately £30 - 80 will be applied. Please inform me if you require international delivery, and I will include this cost in your quote.

Alternatively, if you're local or prefer to collect your portrait in person, arrangements can be made for local delivery or collection.

Shipping is coordinated after the final payment has been received and a couple of weeks from the completion of the artwork. This allows for any necessary finishing touches and ensures that your portrait is prepared for shipment in pristine condition.

Want to know how to get a great reference photo click here . I ask for good quality, clear photographs (digital preferred but happy to work with hard copies). I ask for a few photos of each pet to allow me to get a good feel for their personality, colours and markings. I’m happy to work with poorer quality images if absolutely necessary, but please be aware that I won’t be able to create highly detailed portraits from unclear photos.

If you are unable to capture your pet, if you are local - I will come and take a reference for you (£35 per hour ).
