A little more expensive but I mainly use Winsor and Netwon or Gambln as my oil paints now. This is a great starter set too.

  • Brushes

Brushes are a highly personal choice, and the type you use can greatly influence your results. For the style of oil painting I aim to create, I actually avoid traditional oil brushes. Instead, I prefer brushes designed for acrylic or watercolor painting.

In my experience, a higher price tag doesn’t always mean better quality.

For fine line work, I absolutely love the ones shown below.

For the rest of my brushes, I turn to Rosemary & Co.

My go-to selection includes Series 305 Filbert Cat Tongue brushes in sizes 2, 4, 6, and 10, along with some Mundy mop brushes.
