👻 A Transatlantic Collaboration

After almost a year in the making, I’m so excited to finally share The Conjuring — a hauntingly sweet collaboration between myself and the wonderfully talented Laura Beating Art.

Our painting brings together two familiar faces: my own Skelly, the little skeleton boy searching for joy in a gloomy world, and Laura’s Gary the Ghost, a kind-hearted spirit with his own quiet charm.

Together, they meet in a candlelit graveyard under a watchful moon — a scene that perfectly captures both our styles: spooky, whimsical, and full of gentle emotion.

✈️ A Painting That Crossed the Atlantic

This collaboration has been an adventure in itself. The Conjuring quite literally flew back and forth across the Atlantic as Laura and I took turns working on it.

It began with some sketching and messages full of ideas, and soon the painting became a shared story — gathering depth, character, and atmosphere each time it swapped hands.

Seeing Skelly and Gary come to life together was such a joy — a blend of my moody, slightly melancholic tones and Laura’s ethereal, storybook touch.

When we finally revealed The Conjuring, we were both completely blown away by the response — the original painting sold within a minute!

🖤 A Friendship in Paint

Working with Laura has been a reminder of just how powerful creative collaboration can be. Art can sometimes be a solitary path, so it’s incredibly rewarding to see what happens when two imaginations combine.

Skelly and Gary might come from different worlds, but in The Conjuring, they found friendship, light, and just the right amount of eerie charm.

I couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out..
