I’m very excited to share that I’ll be taking part in an upcoming exhibition at The Wynd Gallery, Letchworth Garden City, alongside the wonderful artist May Cheung Grant. The show, titled “2 Worlds, One Show”, runs from 13th – 21st September and promises to be a vibrant celebration of contrast, creativity, and artistic freedom.

Two Artists, Two Approaches

This exhibition is all about the meeting of two very different worlds of art:

  • My work brings a focus on detailed, emotional realism – capturing the beauty, personality, and spirit of animals in a way that feels alive and relatable.

  • May’s work explores bold, colourful abstraction – a dynamic energy of marks, textures, and expressive freedom that invites the viewer to experience art in a very different way.

Together, our work creates a dialogue between realism and abstraction, emotion and energy, structure and spontaneity. It’s a chance to see two approaches side by side and discover how art can speak in many voices yet still find harmony in the same space.

Why This Show Matters

For me, this show is about celebrating the diversity of art and how different approaches can enhance one another when shared in the same space. It’s a reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be confined to one style or direction – it can be many things at once, just as people are.

If you’re local (or fancy a day trip), I’d be delighted to see you there. Whether you’re drawn to the fine details of realism or the free-spirited boldness of abstraction, there will be something here to inspire and connect with.

2 Worlds, One Show runs 13th – 21st September at The Wynd Gallery. Come along, bring a friend, and enjoy a celebration of contrast, colour, and creativity.
